Sweden said Thursday that it plans to close its embassy in Colombo and consulates-general in Guangzhou, Kaliningrad, Los Angeles and New York.
" This is necessary part of balancing the Ministry for Foreign Affairs budget and adapting it to its allocated appropriations."Sweden Foreign Ministry statement said.
Is that the true reason?
Embassy of Sweden was located at Buller's Lane,Colombo 7 in Sri Lanka.The VFS Application Centre was an initiative of the Embassy of Sweden to facilitate the application process for residents of Sri Lanka.
